The Royal enclosure in Hampi is spread over 59,000 sq meters and had about 43 buildings for the use of the royal family. Today, nothing except the base of the palace is visible.
We can see the ruins of palaces and other buildings in this complex, water tanks, aqueducts and canals. This is one of the structures in Hampi which is completely ruined. We could only imagine how the palace might have looked during the ancient days.
The royal enclosure includes Mahanavami dibba, Step well, and royal palace.
