When we visited Vijaya Vittala temple, Hampi, around 10.30 am, it was very crowded. So we decided to visit early the next morning to avoid the crowd. As planned, Padhi and I reached there at 6.30 am.
We parked our car in the parking area and started walking towards the temple complex. It was still dark and could see the first rays of sun peeking out. The landscape all along was dark and silhouettes of distant trees and boulders.
Around halfway through, the entire landscape started to glow in gold and orange hues. It was totally magical! We turned back (sun was behind us) and were amazed to see the most beautiful sky we’ve ever seen. The magic was not in the landscape, it was in the sky!
Not only we witnessed the drama unfolding before us, we were also rewarded to an empty Vijaya Vittala temple complex. Padhi and I were the only people inside the complex 🙂
Stunning pictures
