Located next to the Lakshmi Narasimha statue the 10 feet tall Shiva linga. A close look on this statue reveals three eyes, depicting the three eyes of Shiva, carved on it. It is housed inside a stone chamber with an opening in the front and without a roof.
The Shiva linga is seated over a large circular platform. The sanctum in which the linga is installed is always filled with water as a water channel is made to flow through it.
Legend has it that this was commissioned by a poor peasant woman and hence the name (Badavi means poor women in Kannada).
