Besides the majestic Vijaya Vittala temple, there is another ancient, but a living wonder in the form of a Deva Kanagale tree (Plumeria or commonly known as Frangipani). This tree around the southern corner of the Vijaya Vittala temple is more than 150 years old.
This tree adds to the already extravagant beauty of the stone chariot and Vijaya Vittala temple.
